Spreading the word about CAA and ACRG
Few days ago we hold a seminar session about the CAA2012 in University of Tartu, Estonia.
There were five of us from Estonia participating CAA conference this year, so we decided to give a highlight of interesting papers and share the conference experience with Estonian archaeological community. We got full seminar room, and not only from archaeology.
I was presenting the topic close to my heart – RTI and other photographic recording techniques based on work by James Miles, Eleni Kotoula. Kaarel Sikk and Priit Lätti gave a good overview about approaches in archaeological data management and conceptual modelling. Allar Haav talked about different GIS topics and highlighted Patricia Murrieta‘s work. Marge Konsa, as a chairman of the CAA Estonian chapter, gave an overview about the CAA organisation and the conference.
Hopefully we can have soon some collaboration projects in between ACRG and Estonian archaeological community.
