Eleonora Gandolfi

My PhD research is focussed on digital landscape simulation and on the representation of the interpretation and uncertainties of archaeological data to a general public. I am particularly interested in: Neolithic and Bronze Age landscapes of southern England, particularly spatial patterning in the Neolithic and Bronze Age monumental landscapes. Survey and excavations in the Avebury region (see below) and reconsideration of the environmental sequence against which the development of the monuments of the Avebury landscape could be set into their wider environmental and spatial context.
